Berg's White Leghorn
The Berg's White Leghorn is a very good feed conversion
with a high rate of lay.
Peak production by 28 weeks of age at a daily production of 94%. These figures can be reached but peak depends on day length, feed quality, water quality, uniformity, floor space, temperature, along with bio security. This seems like a lot to ask for but remember that in order for these birds to make money for you, you have to put in some money and time too.

BERG'S BROWN
The Berg's Brown is a calm layer. Pullets are red and cockerels are white with some colouring. This is a colour sexable bird at the hatchery. Males are an alternative for meat type birds although smaller than the Cornish.
These birds are very hardy for our winter climate.

BLACK SEX LINK
This bird is know for its vigor, livability and its high production of large sized eggs with excellent interior and exterior quality. They are a brown egg layer, it's a good dual purpose bird. This bird is also a very hardy bird for this climate and is a great barn yard chicken. Males look like a Barred Rock when they are mature.
