Shipping by Air - we are flying chicks to some airports across Canada.
Freight charges are minimum of $130.00 per box value, this includes air freight and also the costs of getting the orders to airport from the hatchery (as we are 4 hours from the nearest airport and we must send a delivery vehicle into airport only as a single route because of the early flights needed to accommodate most customers needs).

Shipping Tip: to help save costs why not get someone else to purchase chicks too and we can ship them together in same box with birds sorted to each customer in corners
(1 box can hold up to 100 chicks)

Currently we have found the following information for customers that are interested in shipping by air. 
We would REALLY like customers to phone us for orders that must be flown.

We will be shipping from the Winnipeg Airport depending on Chick orders we will be booking for the end of May flights and the beginning of June. This is so that customers may get all breeds they are looking for on the same shipment. Other dates can be arranged please call the hatchery for inquiries.

The costs for chicks plus freight must be prepaid. We recommend that customers pay by Visa or Master Card as Cheques take a long time to get to us and the order cannot be shipped or reserved unless the cheque has been cleared through our bank.

We need at least 3 weeks notice for orders so that we can get the flights booked and make sure we have the chicks for that day, but would prefer booking orders before 4 weeks as some birds are very limited and you may be disappointed if we are already sold out. 

When the order is taken your credit card is billed for the chicks only and 1 month before we ship we book the flight and then we can give you the times of arrival, dates, weigh bill number and the cost of flights. 

Where have we flown birds to? Comox, Abbotsford, Prince George, Kelowna, B.C , Halifax, N.S, Hamilton, On, Whitehorse, Yukon, Grande Prairie, Edmonton, and more. So we should be able to accommodate you, just give us a call.
