RHODE ISLAND REDS
One of the best known dual purpose breeds today. can be used for meat after lay is done. this brown egg layer is primarily a lustrous, rich, dark red color with a black tail. the combs, wattles and ear lobes are bright red. A very popular back yard bird that is very docile and a bonus to any flock.

BUFF ORPINGTONS
A beautiful dual purpose bird are a heavy but loose feathered bird that appears much heavier than their true weight. The feathers are brood and smooth fitting to the body, the plumage rich golden buff that is very showy. The birds quiet disposition makes this brown egg layer one of the most popular dual purpose breeds. An excellent mother as they are one of the most broody standard breeds.

ASSORTED TOP HAT PACKAGE
This package will consist of buff polish, golden laced polish, silver laced polish, black crested white polish, and white crested black polish sultans, or crevecouers. Not all breeds may be in the package, depending on amount hatched. Sorry no choosing and they come unsexed only. These very showy birds are kept primarily for their unique beauty and for exhibition. These white egg layers give people a lot of fun and really make the back yard look great. Some varieties have excess plumage around the eyes which may cause difficulty to see. Feed and water need to be more accessible than for non-crested varieties.

ASSORTED SPECIALTY PACKAGE.
A new package for us and we are very please to offer these this year. The varieties in this package are very rare to us here in Canada. That’s why we offer the variety so all can get some fun birds without specific ordering and also the egg numbers for these breeds are very limited so putting them together helps to bring volume up. We do not have a great selection of photos for these so hopefully if you buy these and have some great pictures we would welcome them for our site so others can see the varieties.

	Some of these breeds are long tailed and all are really quite unique. These birds are specially picked for their rareness as they are really hard to come by here in Canada. Hope that all enjoy this package.

All the birds in this package are really striking to look at and most are white egg layers, so generally they are a lighter bird. Not as heavy as a Barred Rock or that type of bird.

ASSORTED FULL SIZED COCHINS
This package includes many of the full sized cochins that not a lot of customers in our areas have been able to access before. This is a new package for us this year. The bantam sized cochins are very familiar to most growers and the full sized have much the same characteristics, except for a larger version. These birds are kept for their show quality because for their interesting appearance: all Cochins look like large snowballs in different colors and have feathered feet. They are relatively poor egg producers, so are kept mainly for their outstanding show quality and also make great pets. They are the broody of all standard breeds so they make excellent mothers.
