	Rhode Island Reds……4.95 each These birds are an old time, well-known American breed, which was developed in the state of Rhode Island. A distinct characteristic of this breed is their horizontal, oblong body, which is deep, broad and long, sometimes described as "brick shaped". They are an excellent dual-purpose bird that efficiently produces large brown eggs. From the time they are chicks until maturity they may have white on the wing tips, but when they are fully matured they should not have any white feathers.
	Buff Orpington……. 5.15 each They have rich golden buff plumage are a popular brown egg dual-purpose variety. Because they are loosely feathered, they appear to be much heavier than their true weights. The feathers are broad and smooth fitting on the deep body of this breed. They have a quiet disposition, make excellent mothers and are one of the most broody of all standard breeds. Buff Orpington’s have white skin so when finished laying can be used for butchering for more eye appeal.
	Black Australorps……5.10 each These birds are one of the most popular producers of large brown eggs and they are known for persistency of lay even in hot weather. The green sheen of this solid black plumage bird presents a truly beautiful sight, particularly when the sun is reflecting off the plumage.

Assorted Full Sized Cochins… 5.55 each
This package includes many of the full sized cochins that not a lot of customers in our areas have been able to access before. This is a new package for us this year. The bantam sized cochins are very familiar to most growers and the full sized have much the same characteristics, except for a larger version. These birds are kept for their show quality because for their interesting appearance: all Cochins look like large snowballs in different colors and have feathered feet. They are relatively poor egg producers, so are kept mainly for their outstanding show quality and also make great pets. They are the broody of all standard breeds so they make excellent mothers.

Assorted Brahmas………5.15 each
Brahmas, which originated in India, have a unique stately appearance. They have massive bodies, pea combs and fully feathered shanks and toes. Brahmas grow at a relatively slow rate and are not a good choice for producing broiler meat; the hens which lay medium sized brown eggs, and are useful for fowl meat when their use for laying is over.
